Sandbar Sharks give birth to 4–10 pups every two years. Growth is fairly slow with females maturing at 16 years of age and males at 14 years of age.
Sandbar sharks are carnivore,they forage near the seafloor, feeding on Bony fishes, Squid, Octopus,Crabs and Prawns.
