Notes |
The two species of Deepsea Lizarfish are found worldwide, in deep water from 600 m to 5 000 m. They grow to about 80 cm in length. Like their shallow-water relatives (Synodontidae) they probably rest immobile on the substrate and ambush passing prey. Source : Swainston’s Fishes of Australia |
