Cookiecutter Sharks, which have been found at depths of more than 3500 m, reach a maximum length of about 50cm.They feed on other sharks, large fishes and marine mammals, using specialised lips to suction onto their prey, then rotating their body to cut a round plug of flesh with their razor-sharp, saw-like teeth. |
