Notes

A small Australian freshwater fish found in lakes, streams and rivers of the northern regions of the Murray-Darling river basin in Queensland and New South Wales. Often occurs in small schools. Like other Glassfishes it takes it's name from its' transparent body, through which one can see the vertebrae and internal organs. Agassiz's Glassfish reaches a size of around 7-8 cm in length.
