Driftfishes are named for the habits of the juveniles, which "drift" in oceanic waters and are usually associated with large jellyfishes other cnidarians and ctenophores, floating debris or weed.The juvenile Bluebottle fish lives commensally with the Bluebottle Portuguese Man o'War.
